Login to eServices
Becoming familiar with your eServices account is important because it will allow you to access your student information. Make sure your contact information is always up to date.
Check your SPC Email
Your SPC email account is the official form of communication of the college. You must check your email regularly for important information about your classes, financial aid, college announcements, and much more.
Preparing for classes
View College Calendar to stay on top of important dates. If you have questions or need assistance with your scheduled classes, schedule an advising appointment through Navigate. Find out if you are eligible for TRIO, a free college success program.
Accommodation options
Request accommodations by contacting the Office of Access & Disability Resource and providing the appropriate documentation of your disability. Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis.
Cover your Tuition and Fees
Apply for Financial Aid or pay for your tuition. Check your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) status or your award letter through eServices. Check to see if you are eligible for free tuition through COMPASS.
Buy your textbooks
Access the Virtual Bookstore to find out what books and materials are needed for your courses and to purchase merchandise and the Metro Transit College Pass. All textbooks are ordered online and mailed directly to students’ homes or available to pick up on campus.
Internet & technology options
Learn about free and low cost internet options. A limited number of Chromebooks and mobile hotspots can be checked out for free students through the library. Access campus WiFi and printing.
Coming to Campus
Most student services are available remote and in-person. Review the campus map to know where to go when you arrive. SPC ID Cards are issued in Admissions - Room 1300.
Be Informed
Review student policies and handbook to understand your rights and responsibilities as a student. Discover on-campus anti-violence and mental health support resources available for supporting students.
Get Connected
Check your class schedule in eServices and access information and details for each class by logging into D2L Brightspace. Register on the online job board to find an on-campus job.
Get Involved
Connect with Student Life to learn about ways to get involved on-campus outside just taking classes. Check out the student calendar, the SPC mobile app, and look for the weekly Student Broadcast in your email to stay up to dates on campus events.
Find Additional Support
There are many student support offices ready to assist you in navigating your college experience. Find a tutor for some extra help with your classes. Connect with your Pathway Advisor for help with your academic plan. Explore career and internship opportunities to begin preparing for the future.
Financial Assistance
Request emergency funds if you are experience financial hardship. Stay on top of available scholarship deadlines.
